When did life become a heavy backpack of bricks to pill onto and weigh us down?
As a mental health professional, I specialize in providing therapy to address a wide range of complex and sometimes debilitating issues relating to emotional well-being, such as Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and others. I believe that in some cases, individuals who experience stress symptoms are not living the life they envisioned for themselves and have fallen out of alignment with their ideal selves. As well, clients who have experienced trauma, such as little t trauma like a breakup, being bullied, being rejected, or within Big T trauma, such as the death of a loved one, illness, war/combat, abuse, rape, or a combination of traumas, these experiences can become maladaptive, leading to a loss of coping skills, lack of emotional regulation, unhealthy disassociations, cycling trauma, nightmares, and other adverse reactions. Evidenced-based interventions such as Internal Family Systems Therapy, Parts and Memory Therapy, and EMDR can help clients find relief and a positive path forward from trauma.
My mission is to empower my clients to foster a supportive relationship within themselves so they may cultivate the life they desire. My vision is to bring hope to my clients and promote clarity to facilitate unpacking the backpack of bricks.
